Alum/donor Maria Mazziotti Gilan’s work All That Lies Between Us has been featured in the Washington Post in Grace Cavalieri’s “Short Stack. ” Grace Cavalieri is founder of the public radio series “The Poet and the Poem,” which she hosts and produces from the Library of Congress.
In this special Poetry Month “Short Stack,” Ms. Cavialieri calls Gillan’s poems “colloquial and conversational with an abundance of feeling” and says Gillan’s poetry “is like eating in an old familiar restaurant instead of one with neon lights and hard chairs.”
