The Libraries continually strive to expand access to relevant resources that benefit the entire community. This highlight shares the interesting and high-quality resources we’ve recently added to our collection. We encourage you to explore and engage with the rich diversity of content the Libraries work hard to curate for the university.

The Binghamton University Libraries is happy to announce recent additions to the collections: Early American Imprints (EAI):  Evans & Shaw-Shoemaker and the Foreign Broadcast Information Service (FBIS) records.

The FBIS records from 1941-1996 were issued by the U.S. Government and represent translations of broadcasts, news agency transmissions, newspapers, periodicals, and government statements from nations around the world. It is the principal U.S record of political and historical intelligence files during that time period.
