In early January 2025, EBSCOhost, the platform for many of the Libraries’ subscription databases (list below) will be updated with a new user interface.

New Features

The updated interface will provide access to the same content with a simpler, more intuitive design, and will include new features such as:

  • Personalized dashboards
  • New ways to share and save resources
  • Intuitive limiters and facets
  • Improved translation and text-to-speech features
  • Responsive design for access on more devices
  • Enhanced accessibility standards

For more information about the new interface, see a preview of the new EBSCOhost interface or the New EBSCOhost Interface – Quick Start Guide.

Changes to Custom Folders

IMPORTANT: If you use custom folders, you will need to move or download saved items in your custom or shared folders to your My Folder. Any items saved to custom or shared folders will not be migrated as there is no custom folder option in the new interface. If you are a MyEBSCO folder user, your My Folder will transition to the new user interface.

See steps for moving custom folders to My Folder below.
