The trip is sponsored by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.binghamton.edu\/cnes\/index.html\">Department of Classical and Near Eastern Studies<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Metropolitan Museum of Art&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.metmuseum.org\/about-the-met\/curatorial-departments\/greek-and-roman-art#!\/search?q=etruscan\">collection of Greek and Roman art<\/a> comprises more than 17,000 works ranging in date from the Neolithic period (ca. 4500 B.C.) to the time of the Roman emperor Constantine&#8217;s conversion to Christianity in A.D.\u00a0312 and their collection of\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.metmuseum.org\/art\/metpublications\/Etruscan_Art_in_The_Metropolitan_Museum\">collection of ancient Etruscan art<\/a> includes over one thousand objects dating from about 900 B.C. to about 100 B.C.<\/p>\n<p>Why not take a trip into ancient history?
