S. Gwynn and Jennifer Michael Hecht.<\/p>\n<p>Keiller is a much beloved American author,\u00a0storyteller,\u00a0humorist,\u00a0radio actor, and radio personality. He is known as host of the\u00a0Minnesota Public Radio\u00a0show\u00a0<i>A Prairie Home Companion<\/i>. Keillor created the fictional Minnesota town\u00a0Lake Wobegon, the setting of many of his books, including\u00a0<i>Lake Wobegon Days<\/i>\u00a0and\u00a0<i>Leaving Home: A Collection of Lake Wobegon Stories<\/i>. Other creations include\u00a0Guy Noir, whom Keillor voices, a detective who appears in\u00a0<i>A Prairie Home Companion<\/i>\u00a0comic skits.<\/p>\n<p>This book is part of the Maria Mazzioti Gillan Collection. Maria Mazziotti Gillan is an accomplished author herself and a recipient of the 2014 George Garrett Award for Outstanding Community Service in Literature from AWP (Association of Writers &amp; Writing Programs), the 2011 Barnes &amp; Noble Writers for Writers Award from\u00a0<em>Poets &amp; Writers<\/em>\u00a0and the 2008 American Book Award for her book,\u00a0<em>All That Lies Between Us\u00a0<\/em>(Guernica Editions).<\/p>\n<p>She is director of the Binghamton Center for Writers and the creative writing program, and professor of poetry at Binghamton University-SUNY.
