#BingCollects is back for the third time after a year’s hiatus. Initiated in fall 2022, this pop-up exhibition is a collaboration between the Binghamton University Art Museum and the Libraries Special Collections. Aimed at raising student awareness of both collections’ rich and varied holdings that are available to explore, the pop-ups are held in different locations on campus throughout the year and feature objects from our collections on a common theme and sub-theme.

The theme during the 2025-2026 academic year is “Food & Drink.” Items on display will highlight artwork, objects, ephemera and books from the collections related to dining out and at home as well as growing and preparing food. Not merely for nourishment, food and drink are central to individual enjoyment, strengthening bonds among family and friends, building community and celebrating culture.
The project is intended to meet students where they are in a casual atmosphere and promote the use of our collections for research and as inspiration for creative endeavors. However, you don’t have to be a student to visit the pop-ups — everyone is invited! Be on the lookout for where #BingCollects pops up next!
