Now in its second year, #BingCollects is a joint pop-up exhibition project between the Binghamton University Art Museum and the Libraries’ Special Collections. It’s aimed at raising student awareness of both collections’ rich and varied holdings. The pop-ups are held in different locations throughout the year and feature objects from our collections on a common theme and sub-theme.
This year the theme is “Planet Earth.” During the 2023-2024 academic year, we will pop up with other campus partners that have research and teaching collections which relate to our precious planet – past, present and future.
The project is intended to meet students where they are; promote the use of our collections for research; and inspire creative endeavors via our primary sources. But, you don’t have to be a student to check out the pop-ups – everyone is invited. Be on the lookout for where #BingCollects pops up next!
