Photographs from Kurdish Collection to be featured in University Art Museum exhibit

A Glimpse of Everyday Life in Iraqi Kurdistan

University Art Museum (lower level gallery)

Through black-and-white photography, this exhibit will highlight the everyday life of Iraqi Kurds during the 1960s and the 1980s-1990s.  The photographs are part of the Vera Beaudin Saeedpour Kurdish Library and Museum Collection, located in Special Collections.  The exhibit is curated by Dr. Aynur de Rouen, Curator of Kurdish Collection, and graduate student Marwan Tawfiq, Ph.D. candidate, Comparative Literature/TRIP.
