Edward E. Baptist, associate professor of history at Cornell University, will present “The Half Has Never Been Told: Slavery and the Making of American Capitalism” at 4 p.m. Thursday, March 5, in LN-1106, the IASH Conference Room. He is author of the award-winning Creating an Old South and most recently The Half Has Never Been Told: Slavery and the Making of American Capitalism.
