This is Julia’s first librarian position and she’s excited to support New Student Programs and the Educational Opportunity Program. As chair of the Instructional Services Coordinating Committee, she’s working to improve our instructional materials, including online tutorials.
Julia’s graduate work in library science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill focused on library instruction in the context of higher education. While completing her degree, she worked as a reference and instruction intern at the North Carolina State University Libraries.
Outside of work she enjoys crossword puzzles, bad television and long-form journalism.
