Gilman comes to us from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, where she was the liaison librarian to the College of Agriculture Sciences, as well as to the departments of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and Microbiology, Immunology and Pathology.
She earned her MS in information and library science from the University at Buffalo. Prior to becoming a librarian, she earned her BS in medical laboratory science from the University of Utah and worked as a medical technologist in a variety of laboratories.
Gilman plans to continue growing the established and valuable relationship with DSON, while developing a similar relationship with SOPPS and assisting in the strong growth of both schools. She’ll also be working with the Health Sciences Transdisciplinary Areas of Excellence (TAE).
Outside of work she enjoys books, movies, video games, all things science and all things outdoors.
