Marian Stern recognized as “Library Worker of the Year"

We are delighted by this recognition of our friend and colleague by the South Central Regional Library Council (SCRLC).
Marian assumed additional responsibilities when staffing changes in the systems department required her technical expertise in order to ensure the uninterrupted delivery of critical library services. This required two months of intensive training, a major software migration and focused dedication to a multitude of technical issues as they came.

Dean Curtis Kendrick summarizes, “We in the Libraries are hugely indebted to Marian and her efforts. For her contributions to the Libraries, the University and the broader library community, she is truly deserving of the SCRLC Library Worker of the Year Award.”
Congratulations, Marian!
