Harpur Cinema will be showing Like Someone in Love, a film by famed Iranian filmmaker, Abbas Kiarostami, this weekend. Set in Japan, the story follows a young hooker rescued by an older man. The film will be shown on Friday, March 7 and Sunday, March 9 in Lecture Hall 6 at 7:30 p.m. It will be introduced by Tomokari Nishikawa, assistant professor of Cinema. The Libraries have many DVDs and films by and about Kiarostami. Some are listed below.
