Kurdish Exhibition and Event, Friday, September 23

The Binghamton University Libraries have received the Vera Beaudin Saeedpour Kurdish Library and Museum Collection, a comprehensive collection from the Kurdish Foundation and Museum consisting of books, papers, traditional costumes, jewelry and other unique artifacts. The Libraries will host an event on Friday, September 23 at 12:00pm in the Bartle Staff Lounge on the Second Floor of the Bartle Library. Janet Klein, Ph.D., Associate Professor at the University of Akron, will address the topic of Kurdish Studies and the importance of the Vera Beaudin Saeedpour Kurdish Library and Museum Collection at Binghamton University.
The public is invited to this talk and a reception immediately following. Tours of the collection will follow and continue throughout the weekend.
The Kurdish exhibits will also be open to visitors on Saturday, September 24 and Sunday, September 25, 12:00 noon – 3:00 p.m.
