Harpur Cinema Presents Nobody Knows About Persian Cats

Negar and Ashkan simply want to play a gig in London.  The problem is getting a visa that will get them and the band out of Tehran.  Half-indy film, half-documentary, Persian Cats…is a  window into the Irani metal, rap and rock scene, where playing music is still a highly dangerous and necessarily underground activity.  Special Jury Prize, Cannes and Tokyo Filmex.
Harpur Cinema presents Nobody Knows about Persian Cats at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 25-27, in LH-6. Admission: $4; subscription is $15 for students and senior citizens; $17 for general public.
