Sundance Film Festival

The annual Sundance Film Festival, which is held every year in Park City, Salt Lake City, and Ogden, Utah runs from January 20-30th. Sundance, first developed by Robert Redford and others in 1978, is the largest independent film festival in the United States. Many now popular filmmakers first got noticed at Sundance, including Kevin Smith, Steven Soderbergh, Darren Aronofsky, and Quentin Tarantino, amongst others.
