The 2010 Harpur College Dean’s Distinguished Lecture will present Distinguished Professor Donald Quataert from Harpur College’s Department of History at 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 5, in FA-Casadesus Hall. His talk, “Views from Below and the Writing of Ottoman History,” promises to offer insights into the craft of history and our understanding of the modern Middle East.
