Input Chinese Characters without configuring your PC

Since Asian fonts take a lot of space, they usually are not automatically installed in a PC by default. People who need to input Chinese on a regular basis would need to install Chinese font separately and configuring Chinese Input Method Editor (IME)from their PC.
You may be aware of that most computers in library Information Commons don’t have Chinese language input function. However, there is a simple tool that you can use to get Chinese characters without PC configuration.
Go to http://dict.cn/ime/ 在线拼音输入法. This is an online Chinese input tool that supports more then 7,000 Chinese characters. From there, you can type Pinyin and get the corresponding Chinese characters displayed. You then can cut and paste the term to wherever you need to perform a search. By using this tool, you don not have to go through a complicated language input configuration on your PC. It is very handy and easy.
