Black Abolitionist Papers

This collection tracks the efforts that were made by African Americans to abolish slavery. The 15,000 item collection covers 1830-1865 and includes writings and publications from the activists. The trial is available until November 2, 2013.

Black Studies Center

This collection, focusing on the topic of Black Studies, has scholarly essays, periodicals, historical news, reference materials, and video interviews with contemporary African Americans that have contributed their memories to the historical record. The trial is available until November 2, 2013.

History Vault Slavery and the Law

This historical collections contains articles, correspondence, government records, and other documents related to slavery and the law. The trial is available until November 2, 2013.
